Ecuador Coffee Cherry Market Overview:

Ecuador is one of the few countries in the world where coffee production is likely to occur nationwide, including the Galapagos Islands. Fifty percent of coffee production is found in the coastal provinces of Ecuador. The province of Manabí accounts for about 25 percent of total production, based in the Jipijapa region. The Amazon and Sierra Leone (30) regions make up about 30 percent of each coffee produced in Ecuador. By 2020 and due to the status of COVID-19, exports of coffee beans were limited as shipping costs rose between 78 and 85 % for major suppliers: Brazil and Vietnam.
